For over 15 years, Britt Vaughn has coached MBA candidates around the globe to gain admission into the world’s apex graduate business institutions. He is passionate about establishing relationships with his clients as he helps them develop compelling stories that translate to offers. He knows how valuable an offer is, as he used his own MBA as leverage to switch his career path from large employer healthcare benefits consulting to global finance/entrepreneurship and activate his legacy/social impact objectives.
Britt’s unique leadership and C-Level advisory experiences span entrepreneurship, investment banking/private equity (at Goldman Sachs and Wachovia Securities) and ecosystem strategy development across multiple industries, including: sports, entertainment, media, multi-asset class commercial real estate, consumer finance, consumer packaged goods, food & beverage, hospitality, defense & aerospace, IT & business services, healthcare, fintech, and blockchain/cryptocurrency. He has also added value to executive teams of major foundations.
Britt graduated from the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania) with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics where he was a varsity athlete on the Ivy League Champion Football Team and a chapter officer of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.. He received his MBA in finance, accounting, real estate, and entrepreneurship from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business (Northwestern University) where he was a Robert TOIGO Foundation MBA Fellow. He has also completed coursework toward his MFA in creative writing from Full Sail University.
Britt lives in Dallas, TX and is an avid sports fan, with a penchant for soccer — the real football. He is a cigar aficionado and a writer/editor of fiction and non-fiction. Britt grew up as a 4-sport athlete (football - the American kind, basketball, baseball, track) who also played 3 musical instruments (classical/jazz piano, violin, baritone). He still works out and has had his most fun in business and life producing music and videos while rocking out in the studio until the wee hours of the morning with his talented clients.
