Cassandra Johnson

Cassandra enjoys helping individuals find their voice and craft their story and has been doing that at Square One since 2016. Cassandra ensures her clients differentiate themselves in the highly competitive applicant pool of top MBA programs by combining Hollywood storytelling secrets with shrewd marketing strategy so they evoke emotions in admissions committees and lead those committees to make offers to her clients.

After graduating from Brandeis University with a BA in Economics and Latin American Studies, Cassandra developed her strategic storytelling acumen in a variety of roles. They ranged from management consulting and marketing strategy at Strategy & and The New York Times respectively, to television series development at Disney-ABC Television. Colleagues and strangers alike requested her help with their business school applications. In assisting them, Cassandra refined the storytelling techniques that secured her own seat at Harvard Business School, from that impossible final admissions round no less. Of all the applicants Cassandra helped in this way, only one matriculated at a business school other than Harvard and Columbia. Since then, Cassandra has applied this approach to resume writing and interviewing as a consultant to the career services centers of the USC Marshall School of Business and University of Miami.

Cassandra is currently based in Orlando, Florida. When she’s not helping Square One clients craft their story, she enjoys community service with the Junior League of Greater Orlando and designing fashion apparel.
