Dana Teppert

Creativity is at the core of everything that I do. A fiction writer with an MBA from Harvard Business School, I have dedicated my career to crafting authentic, compelling narratives. I partner with clients to identify and communicate the unique attributes that will excite MBA admissions committees. Supportive, yet direct, I am committed to positioning clients for success.

I honed my storytelling abilities working with the C-suite of Global Fortune 1000 companies. After earning a degree in English Literature from Brown University, I worked as a researcher at Harvard Business School, where I collaborated with senior faculty members on highly popular case studies as well as an award-winning business book, Collective Genius: The Art and Practice of Leading Innovation (Harvard Business Publishing 2014). I went on to advise leaders on building innovative companies at a consulting firm founded by a senior faculty member at Harvard Business School and a former Hollywood studio executive. While a student in the MBA program at Harvard Business School, I served as the Vice President for Diversity & Inclusion of the Entertainment and Media Club and was nominated as a tutor for the required course LEAD. To Square One Prep, I bring a deep understanding of how to tell powerful, immersive stories that demonstrate clients are future business leaders ready to make a difference in the world.

Based in Los Angeles, I absorb the energy of Hollywood to fuel my passion for storytelling. Currently, I am focusing on my fiction writing, and working with my literary agent to publish my debut novel. In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga, exploring new restaurants, and getting my Vitamin D at the beach.
