At Square One Prep, I use a positive, direct approach to help my clients navigate the application process, introspect, and craft outstanding applications that often secure scholarships (as I did at LBS) while also actually enjoying this process, known for being quite stressful.
Before LBS, I followed a traditional path earning a bachelor’s in engineering at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and spending nearly six years in financial markets at Santander. The MBA led to a double career switch: moving from banking to Tech and from Rio de Janeiro to (cold!) London. After business school, I dived into the ecommerce world, launching a marketplace at an early-stage startup and later managing strategic partnerships for a print-on-demand platform.
However, the MBA meant much more to me than this career transition. As a Student Ambassador for LBS, I connected with applicants worldwide, reviewing their essays and sharing invaluable interview tips. I bring insights from this role to my partnerships at Square One. Passionate about Gender Equality, I also joined the Executive Committee of the Women in Business Club to design a panel and workshop for its annual conference. I’m relish guiding all my clients to those coveted top MBA program offers, but I admittedly feel even more joy (if that’s possible) for those who support/enable equality.
Beyond these endeavors, I love learning languages – I’m a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English, advanced in Spanish, and currently learning French – and I’m an avid reader. I have a passion project called Bonded by the Books, an Instagram community to share reviews and talk about books. Finally, nothing makes me happier than playing with my two-year-old daughter, trying new restaurants with my husband, and spending quality time with my big family when I go to Rio.
