Throughout her career, Iris Tian has been passionate about mentoring and helping others. Before business school, Iris worked at KIPP and Teach For America in multiple roles, including classroom teacher, department chair, instructional coach, and curriculum writer. She has extensive experience coaching high school students through the college application process, has served as a Harvard College interviewer since 2011, and has been guiding Square One clients since early 2018.
Iris found immense value in her own experience applying to business school, and knows that a clear and compelling story was essential to not only secure admissions offers, but multiple full tuition scholarships. She is eager to leverage her own experiences and passion to help others articulate their own story and support them through the transformative process of applying to business school.
Iris is currently a consultant in BCG's Houston office, where she focuses on education and social impact work. She has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, where she graduated as a Siebel Scholar, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard College. She is a proud resident of Houston, TX, and spends her free time eating, drinking, and running her way through the most diverse city in the US.
