Jason is here to be your partner. The admissions process is an incredible journey of self-reflection, goal-setting, and story-telling. Jason will guide you every step of the way, from understanding what makes you who you are and what makes you unique to focusing on your goals and packaging them in a way that’s compelling and distinct.

He helped co-found the Lunch Buddy Board at Kellogg, a team that works closely with admissions to shape the campus visit experience for potential candidates and understand what the admissions committee looks for in potential MBAs. Having developed a passion for the MBA Admissions process through his own application experience, he is excited to start his second year with Square One Prep and continue helping others realize their business school aspirations .

Jason has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts in Psychology. Coming from Nielsen prior to business school, working in both Boston and China, and being born into a Taiwanese immigrant family, Jason understands how to highlight key aspects of work and personal history to craft a story that resonates with admissions committees.

Jason lives in Seattle where he spends weeknights in the kitchen and weekends exploring the outdoors. A fluent Mandarin speaker, he has a diverse international perspective through spending years in China and traveling the world. Ask him about the time he swam with sharks in Belize!
