I believe that applying to business school is like launching a startup. Both require planning strategies, knowing your differentiators, anticipating challenges, and understanding the competition. Both also benefit greatly from having strong mentorship. At Square One, I apply this approach with my clients. I listen to them to understand their motivations and voice, and then help them create original, introspective, winning applications.
I have an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master’s in Finance from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor’s in Management from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. I am also a CFA Charterholder.
While I started my career in finance working with larger brands like Citigroup and KKR, I soon realized that my true passion was entrepreneurship. Prior to business school, I founded Intellilens and bootstrapped the business into one of India's largest eyewear brands. I then sold the company to a billion-dollar e-commerce player while studying at Harvard Business School and became a founding member of FalconX, an $8 billion digital asset brokerage, where I built their Asia operations. Today, I continue to be a builder as I work on my next entrepreneurial endeavor, which is in its ideation phase.
My passion for making a difference doesn't stop at entrepreneurship. I also mentor startup entrepreneurs and make angel investments in promising early stage ventures. In my personal life, I enjoy exploring San Francisco's vibrant food and music scene, playing golf and tennis, and cooking delicious Indian meals for my friends.
