Ruth Hubbard…Ruthie has been turning data into useful insights and telling compelling stories across several industries for almost 10 years. As a Strategy & Insights Development Manager for YouTube, she is responsible for convincing the world’s largest advertisers to shift their TV budgets to digital dollars in YouTube with her thought leadership, custom research and sales acumen.
Ruthie is a natural connector of people and information, and believes in paying it forward by helping others just as she has been helped. That’s why she is an advisor at Square One, where she helps clients craft applications that connect with admissions committees.
Ruthie graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A in Marketing & Communications, and followed that with earning an MBA from Kellogg. While at Kellogg, Ruthie was a Strategy Intern for MediaLink in San Francisco and The Gates Foundation in DC. She led two premier conferences as the Sponsorship Chair for Kellogg on Growth where she led a team that raised $138K from 13 corporate sponsors and as the Speaker Chair for the Black Management Association Conference where she designed the content and leveraged her broad network to get 27 impactful speakers to share their unique perspectives.
Prior to Kellogg, Ruthie spent four years in the financial services industry working as a Relationship Manager at JPMorgan Asset Management where she advised multi-million dollar corporate and public institutional pension plans on how to meet their investment objectives across every asset class.
Today, when she isn’t working or guiding her Square One clients, Ruthie serves as a board member of the Stamford Public Education Fund and focuses on her new pandemic pastime of learning about voice over work.
