Simone Kendle intimately understands the daunted task her clients face when applying to business school. This relatability drives a compassionate yet straightforward approach in collaborating with her clients to highlight the most impactful moments from tier pasts and hopes for their futures to build authentic applications that yield offers.
Simone grew up in a military family, but settled in Texas where she received her BA in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of North Texas, followed by an MBA from the Wharton School, where she majored in Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
Prior to Wharton, Simone spent 8 years at Capital One working in Project & Process Management, People Leadership, and CX insights. Outside of her 9-5 job, Simone built multiple businesses in the beauty and social media sector. She recently launched ‘The Twinsetters Podcast’ through which she takes her experiences in business, the beauty industry, and motherhood to bring insights to women seeking a more purposeful life.
At Wharton, Simone joined the boards of the African American Business Association and Women in Business Club, and was an Investor for the Penn Wharton Innovation Fund. She also became a Teaching Assistant for Wharton’s Management Communication Program where she coached up to 8 founders at a time to tell the story of their startups in the best way possible to secure investments. Each of these roles reinforced Simone’s commitment to giving her time and advice to see others succeed.
When she’s not helping others, Simone spends time with her daughter Kaia and partner Travis, or catching up with girlfriends at their favorite brunch spot.
