Sooky Park

Sooky Park is passionate about helping her Square One clients discover their unique voices in a way that is authentic to their experiences, who they are today and who they aspire to be in the future. She believes everyone possesses an assortment of “dots”, that, when connected, make their story undeniably special, and resonant to admissions committees.

Sooky first learned the power of connecting the dots (literally) at the age of 3 when she started learning how to play the piano. Those early lessons from music deeply engrained in her a profound understanding of the importance of active listening, thoughtful introspection and creative storytelling. She loves helping clients find and grow confident in their unique voice while navigating the MBA applications process.

Sooky holds a B. Mus in Piano Performance and a B.A. in Psychology from Northwestern University, and an MBA/MA from the Wharton School and the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. At Wharton, she served on the Dean’s MBA Advisory Council and worked with Wharton’s Dean on various MBA programming strategies. As the Career Lead for the Lauder Institute, she helped countless students with resume reviews, recruiting and interview preparation. She also served as a Student Admissions Program volunteer, and held board positions in Wharton Asian American Association of MBA’s and Wharton Korea Club.

Sooky’s professional background spans retail, marketing strategy, data analytics and emerging technology, and now includes management consulting at McKinsey.

In her free time, Sooky loves relearning old and discovering new piano pieces, playing tennis and planning her next big oceanside trip (spoken like a true native Southern Californian!). She is fluent in Korean.
