Taylor Reeves is energized by helping his Square One clients gain admission to competitive MBA programs so they may challenge their limits and expand their impact. It’s precisely what attending Harvard Business School did for him.
Prior to attending HBS, Taylor earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University where, as the College of Engineering Ambassador, he presented hundreds of seminars encouraging under-represented youth to consider engineering and twice hosted the annual Engineering Fair that included 500+ participants. At HBS he was selected to serve as an Admissions Ambassador and Vice President of Admissions for the Armed Forces Alumni Association and PRIDE Club. Through hosting dozens of prospective student class visits, leading campus tours, and contributing to admissions panels, Taylor deepened his passion for helping others.
Throughout his career in the United States Marine Corps, in which he served both before and after HBS, Taylor led humanitarian missions in five countries, oversaw logistics for an Afghan refugee camp, and mentored hundreds of Marines. These experiences not only allowed him to continue his mission to enable others; they also challenged his preconceived limits and forced him outside of his comfort zone.
In all of his experiences, whether in academic or work contexts, Taylor was astute at building teams and fostering relationships with partners from around the globe due to his focus creating honest, open environments. He brings that supportive nature and candor to his partnerships at Square One.
In his free time, Taylor enjoys endurance running, unicycling, reading about the space industry, and helping military veterans apply for jobs.
