There is nothing more fulfilling for me than helping people achieve their career goals through education. I have been doing this informally for more than 20 years, helping clients and mentees secure offers from top schools including Wharton, Harvard, Columbia and Oxford Said.
I have an MBA from Wharton School, an MA in East Asian Studies from the Lauder Institute, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Engineering Science and Economics from Oxford University. I also lived in rural Japan where I studied international business as a Japanese Government scholar, and in rural Vermont where I completed the Middlebury College summer immersion Japanese program.
Post Wharton, I have had a wide range of professional experiences, from infrastructure project finance in Latin America, the US and Turkey to private equity investment in Africa to development finance in Asia and Africa. Through these experiences I lived in New York, Miami, London, Washington DC, Maputo and Singapore.
At Square One Prep, I rely on my global education and work experiences, through which I’ve developed strong listening skills, patience, and ease working with people from diverse cultural and business environments, to guide my clients.
When I’m not in the weeds with my Square One clients, you can find me focused on another passion, climate finance, through my work on boards and consulting assignments. In my free time I enjoy traveling, working out, reading and following my favorite sports, tennis and soccer.
