Varun Uttamchandani’s passion for tapping into his clients’ experiences and goals to help them build both compelling and unique narratives is one of the many reasons 52 of his 54 previous clients are at top-20 MBA programs. With six years of MBA Admissions experience, Varun has an approach that is holistic and empathetic.
Varun holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication Studies from UCLA and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. At Wharton, Varun wrote for the Wharton Journal and held leadership positions with the Wharton Graduate Association student government, the Wharton Tech Club, and the Wharton Wharthogs rugby team. He also served as an Admissions Fellow, evaluating and interviewing applicants to the program.
Varun has a background in entrepreneurship and technology, having worked in a number of venture backed technology startups. Raised in Los Angeles but currently residing in Dallas, Varun is a Director of Product Marketing Manager at healthcare technology startup Doximity, where he leads Go-To-Market strategies for four products, and the VP of Client Growth at Curative Talent, Doximity’s subsidiary.
In his free time, Varun enjoys hiking trails on the California coast, watching indie cinema, writing creative stories, and indulging in his love for all things sriracha.
