I had a great experience using Square One Prep and was admitted to Columbia and UCLA with their help! From the very first introductory call through the end of the application process, Kathryn was incredibly supportive and did an impeccable job at outlining what the business school application process would look like – so much so that I did not encounter any surprises. At the beginning of the process, I had only two years of work experience and lacked the confidence that I would be a strong applicant. However, I knew that business school was the right path for the career pivot I wanted to make. Kathryn helped me build the confidence I needed to complete the applications while also helping me feel comfortable with a realistic execution plan. After hearing about my background, Kathryn thoughtfully set me up with advisors that I could partner with closely throughout the process. Furthermore, Kathryn has developed a very user-friendly platform that helps with keeping up to date with deadlines and keeping on schedule.

For the actual application process, I worked with Crystal as my advisor, and I cannot recommend her enough! Throughout the application process she supported me both in strengthening my application and emotionally in this busy time. She is an excellent communicator, and from the start I told her I need someone who could be direct with me and keep me on track, which was exactly how she worked with me throughout the application cycle. She held me accountable to deadlines, pushed me to dig deeper in my writing and self-exploration, and helped me prioritize different parts of the application to strengthen my weaker areas.
