I just wanted to thank you all SO much for all of the help and support throughout the written application efforts. I really enjoyed working with each of you and look forward to seeing what happens! This process helped me think differently about myself, be introspective, and explore my career aspirations in a way I never have before. Thank you all for pushing me and for your patience.
FAST FORWARD TO MARCH 31, 2026
After processing all of the exciting news last weekend and going 3-for-3 on schools, I wanted to take some time to truly thank each of you. I would absolutely, without a doubt, not be where I am today without your help, support, cheerleading, and constant encouragement. From my struggles with the GRE to multiple iterations of certain essays, you were in it with me until everything was absolutely perfect. I don’t have the words to express how grateful I am and how much I valued your support.
Horatiu, thank you for sticking with me through my career narrative journey. Before speaking to you, I was all over the place on what I thought I wanted to do with my career and what made sense. You listened, pushed me, pressure tested me, and helped me take the time to research and really become even more passionate about my startup. I really enjoyed working with you and picking your brain on what this all could look like. I can confidently say that I feel better set up to start my MBA because of all of the work we did together in shaping my path.
Pat, thank you for helping me stay on track and ensure I got everything done before my family trip in December. You were always incredibly responsive and encouraging. You really helped hold me accountable for all of the dates, GRE tests, and everything in between.
Kathryn, thank you for being an extra set of eyes on every single one of my essays. After you triple checked Lara and my essays, I felt even more comfortable moving forward with them! Thank you for pressure testing certain themes and specific points and encouraging me to think differently. I will never forget the very last “essay” we worked on, the Booth interview video. That was one of the toughest ones for me, but I appreciate all of your healthy push back in order to get it to the right spot. I absolutely felt more at ease knowing you were there every step of the way and thank you for your emails of encouragement before and after the GREs and before and after getting into all 3 schools!
Last, but not least, LARA!!!!! When we were working together, I told every person that would listen to me how amazing you were. You pushed me, held me accountable, worked late nights with me, made me feel like my story was worth listening to, and just truly made me a better writer. You are so skilled in what you do and I truly enjoyed all of our calls and work together. By the end of our work, I absolutely felt like a better writer and could articulate more interesting stories and moments about my career and life to date. You made my small stories, memories, and moments stand out and helped me connect them to the essay themes. This is something I never thought possible! Before working with you as I thought about business school I was concerned I wasn’t interesting enough and that my stories were not worth sharing. You made me feel heard and I can’t thank you enough! I just don’t have the words to express it, but it is beyond THANK YOU. I hope we can stay in touch on this next journey of mine and I hope you know I will continue to tell the world how amazing you are and how everyone MUST work with you if they are considering business school.
