As far back as I can remember, I have been fascinated by stories. I’m always impressed by my favorite authors’ abilities to develop characters and produce complex, believable humans, each with their own histories that make you hear their voice and want to know more. I believe a compelling MBA application comes down to an applicant’s ability to convey their story in an authentic and unique way. At Square One, my goal is to help you reflect on your journey thus far and craft your story in a way that enables admissions committees to hear your voice and want to know more.

I have an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master’s in Public Health from Dartmouth and Bachelor’s in Biology and History from Duke. At HBS, I sang in the HBS Show Club’s Cabaret performance, served as social chair for Section D, and built great networks in our entrepreneurial and healthcare communities.

I have spent most of my career at the intersection of healthcare and business. I started off as a life sciences strategy consultant at Frankel Group / Huron Life Sciences in New York City before transitioning to the world of early-stage healthcare investing. I helped build an investment marketplace startup called FundRx, which enabled healthcare experts to invest in venture-backed digital health, health services and life sciences startups. I then joined the two co-founders of FundRx as they launched an early-stage healthcare VC, MBX Capital, as Partner & Head of Research. In 2023, I left my investing role to join one of our digital health portfolio companies, Wellth, as Chief of Staff after they raised a Series B. At Wellth, I spend my time between commercial strategy, business operations and finance. I am passionate about healthcare innovation, particularly as it pertains to companies tackling the world’s major public health issues.

Outside of work, you can find me trying out San Diego’s best restaurants, dancing my heart out at a concert or reading a science fiction novel on the beach. I am also an avid sports fan and enjoy basketball, soccer, tennis, F1 and cricket. Come March Madness every year, I’m fully decked out in Duke Blue! I was born in India and grew up in California, so I am fluent in Bengali and can hold my own speaking Spanish and Hindi.
