Wilson Yeung believes that anything is possible and brings that positive outlook to Square One Prep. As a gay immigrant, he believes that everyone plays a role in making history, contributing meaningfully to the world. As such, in his Square One partnerships, he helps clients define their authentic voice, motivations, values, and goals. He pushes his clients out of their comfort zones in a supportive manner, while offering honest feedback.
Wilson holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business and an MBA from Columbia Business School. At CBS he was an active member of Hermes Society and Cluster Q, where he worked alongside the admissions team to identify and evaluate prospective students. He also interned at Gap’s corporate strategy group, helped launch a LGBTQ swimwear brand, and advised Tiffany & Co and LVMH on retail technology projects. Since graduating, he has conducted many candidate interviews for CBS Admissions.
Outside of Square One Prep, Wilson serves in a Strategy and Operations role in Tech. Prior to Tech, he was a management consultant, advising Fortune 500 clients on M&A and corporate strategy topics. Wilson currently resides in San Francisco, where he spends his spare time volunteering with Out for Undergrad (O4U), mentoring other LGBT professionals, and trying new workout classes on ClassPass. He is also fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
