Wilson Yeung is passionate about helping his clients reach their full professional potential. As a gay immigrant, he believes that everyone has a unique story to tell and is eager to help his clients find their authentic voice and highlight their strengths that captivate admissions officers. He guides his clients with a hands-on, direct approach.
Wilson holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business and an MBA from Columbia Business School. At Columbia, he was an active member of Hermes Society and Cluster Q, where he worked alongside the admissions team to identify and evaluate prospective students. He also interned at Gap’s corporate strategy group, helped launch a LGBTQ swimwear brand, and advised Tiffany & Co and LVMH on retail technology projects.
Outside of Square One Prep, Wilson is a management consultant, advising Fortune 500 Technology and Private Equity clients on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, from M&A strategy to merger integrations and divestitures.
Wilson currently resides in San Francisco, where he spends his spare time volunteering with Out for Undergrad (O4U), mentoring other LGBT professionals, and trying new workout classes on ClassPass. He is also fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
