Thank you Square One – I was accepted to Wharton, one of my dream programs! I couldn’t have done it without Square One’s systematic guidance!
I needed a service that would ensure that I had a shot at the top schools. Compounding the issue was the fact that I was looking for relatively “rush” service – Kathryn provided excellent, systematic guidance and met a very aggressive timeline of under a month so I could get my applications in. Result: I was accepted to Wharton! (And waitlisted at Sloan.)
Kathryn’s advice and eye for detail are spot on. She provides clear advice that makes your application make sense while putting your best foot forward. In these days of extreme competition to get into the top b-schools, that is invaluable. She is able to take multiple storylines that you can approach applications with and whittle them down to the one that is both impactful as well as based in reality (while everyone might want to be the next Elon Musk, it’s quite likely that your career progression might not indicate that that’s why b-school is the right next step for you).
I would highly recommend Kathryn’s services. A caveat: if you’re NOT working with Kathryn, please take the time to vet your Square One counselor. Assess timezone differences, working styles, and ability to deliver on tight schedules while maintaining transparency. Choose someone that has had many years of experience doing several applications. If you don’t have faith in your counselor, you’ll be fighting an uphill battle the whole way. And if you need to change your advisor, do so early in the process. Square One appears to be expanding, which is great news for all of us out there, but that process demands attention on our parts to ensure we are being served well for the money we are paying.
On the whole, I recommend Square One prep, and especially Kathryn Lucas!
