In May 2020, I unexpectedly lost my job in healthcare operations due to COVID-19. In deciding my next step, I thought about applying to business school, as it was part of my long-term plan. But I knew nothing about the process or requirements and was worried that I did not have enough experience and knowledge to a) be accepted to a competitive program and b) be able to contribute at the same level as my peers.
