Partnering with SOP was one of the best decisions I have made
I am so grateful to Kathryn (Wow!!, really couldn’t ask anything more from her as she really knows what she is doing and knows how to get things done), Wilson (my awesome, superb, and fantastic advisor), Cristina (who really ensured that we adhered to the timelines and coordinated the process so well), and Horatiu (who really pushed me to ensure that I have a strong career narrative – thank you so much!!).
Here is what I love about SOP –
1. I appreciate the structured approach, which begins with an assessment call that identifies my strengths and areas to improve. This is not just high-level analysis but deep dives into those specifics which probably I would have missed if I hadn’t done such an introspection that is so comprehensive. Post which the real drill starts with the preparation of a resume, school-specific essays, etc. These essays truly reflected my personal and professional journey. Wilson – thanks a lot for pushing me to really do the introspection!!
2. There is absolutely nothing called “in the interest of time” or “cutting corners” – each one of them is so committed and for once I never have felt that I was working with an external advisor. Wilson was so involved in the process and was so flexible especially since my deadlines were back to back (a million thanks here!!). Cristina – a huge shout-out for pushing us, ensuring that we get things done in a timely manner, and cheering us all the way through! Kathryn was so supportive in turning around my deliverables quickly and gave very specific feedback which made total sense and helped me connect the stories better.
I couldn’t have achieved this without SOP and I strongly recommend it to anyone who is in the journey of MBA applications. This is one investment that you will cherish. I really did land up in my dream school and so will you!
