The saying ‘you don’t know what you don’t know’ turned out to be very applicable to my experience of applying to my target MBA programs. Luckily, I had an exceptional advisor throughout the entire application process. In hindsight, there is no way I could have pulled together an equally competitive application on my own because I lacked the necessary understanding of the admissions process and I was very inexperienced at communicating my military experience to non-military people. Now that my applications are submitted with decisions pending, I am able to reflect on what I feel was the most rewarding part of the experience with my consultant—the ability to have a candid and honest dialogue about my goals and translating those goals into my application. Again, as a military professional, determining what life after the military will look life is difficult. For the first time in a while I have a clear vision of my future goals and how an MBA will help me accomplish those goals.

In such a competitive application environment, a consultant with extensive knowledge of the admissions process and criteria is essential. I truly feel that Square One Prep made my MBA goals a possibility and I would adamantly recommend them to anyone applying to top tier programs.
